Mystnight

MystNight is a browser-based AI murder mystery game you can play with a friend.

Two real players join the same room — your friend only needs to click an invite link, with no install and no signup required. The AI acts as the host / game master and also controls the rest of the cast. Each player and AI character receives a secret role, motive, and hidden goal.

You investigate the case, question suspects, trade information, form theories, and make accusations. Meanwhile, the AI characters can lie, deduce, build alliances, hide evidence, and try to frame each other.

Every case is generated live by an LLM, so each game can have different suspects, clues, twists, relationships, and culprits. There is also an optional voice mode that reads characters aloud in different voices, plus a scorecard at the end.

A full game usually takes around 30–45 minutes across several acts.

This is an early version, so I’d really appreciate feedback on what feels fun, what is confusing, and anything that breaks.
